As per the Latest Bollywood News, film director Mukesh Bhatt vehemently opposes the notion of Triptii Dimri joining Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming Aashiqui 3 from his production house. He dismisses this assertion, highlighting that casting choices will only be made once the script and music are fully settled.

Expressing dismay at misleading reports trying to capitalize on the Aashiqui series' success, Bhatt adds, "This is unacceptable. There hasn't been any discussion with this individual." Mukesh Bhatt later clarified that Aashiqui 3’s production won’t commence until the music meets his approval.

He affirmed Kartik Aaryan’s confirmation for the movie, emphasizing that Kartik and the music hold central importance in the film’s narrative. Other cast decisions will follow once the music is finalized.

The original Aashiqui, released in 1990 and directed by Mahesh Bhatt, introduced Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, turning them into household names with its musical success.

Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has already hit the mark of its 120-crore budget within the extended opening weekend. Despite experiencing a significant drop in advance booking collections on the sixth day, the movie remains a strong performer at the Indian box office.

As of now, Dunki has grossed around 128.63 crores*. Released on December 21, 2023, the film faced off against Prabhas & Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, which debuted on December 22, 2023.

Despite the competition, Dunki has held its ground, maintaining a solid presence at the box office, while Animal also continues to draw viewers despite its limited screen count.

The latest reports indicate that on day 6, Dunki’s advance booking earned around 2.60 crores gross (excluding blocked seats), marking a significant 68% decline from the previous day’s earnings of 8.29 crores gross.
